Kornati or „Kornatsko otočje“ are located in the middle of Dalmacija, south of Zadar. It consists of about 150 islands stretched over an area of 320 km2. The southern part of islands has been declared a National park in 1980. The total park is about 220 km2 and consists 89 islands and islets rocks. From the surface of the park, only about ¼ is land, while the remaining part is marine ecosystem. Kornati with an area of 32,44 km2 is the largest island in the archipelago and occupies 2/3 of the National Park. The island is 25,2 km long an wide up to 2,5 km. The island has no permanent settlers and detailed information about the National Park Kornati you can find at www.kornati.hr.

Nature Park Telašćica is located in the south-eastern part of Dugi otok and 10 km away from the Hotel Port, and also, one of the largest local attractions because of its plant and animal diversity. Excursionists consider Telašćica interesting because of the “Slano jezero” that is settled within the park, but also because of endemic species that grow in the park. For our guests we organize all-day trip to Telašćica.

Cave “Strašna peć” was first mentioned in 1898th in Zadar paper (II Dalmata) after the first speleological research of the cave. After that, in 1904., Austrian  magazine "Ilustrierte
Österreichische Riviera Zeitung"  started to popularize it and brought the firs visitors. The same visitors on Dugi otok came with an old steamboats from Zadar. Apart from them, about the „Strašna peć“ has been writing the leading German, Croatian and Italian media. The popularity of media resulted the first visitors such as:
- Austro-Ugarian Emperor Franz Joseph in 1904. who funded its original decorating, builds an iron gate at the entrance, two lanterns and regulates the staircase towards the sea.
- Prince Edward with the British royal family.
