Place Luka  was first mentioned in 1365. as Vallis Sancti Stephani, according to the church of Sv. Stjepan, who is also the guardian of this place. Accommodation of the place is almost ideal, sheltered from all the winds, and in the streamy summer months there is a feeling of comfort and freshness that provides  wind maestral.
Luka is located in the foot of the island's highest hill „Vela Straža“, and near  the place there are caves with large halls and embellishments.
Shortly, Luka is place for guests who want to enjoy the peace and quiet, crystal – clear waters, surrounded by National park Kornati and Nature park Telaščica.

Records about Dugi Otok come from 10th century. The island belongs to Zadar archipelago northern islands; 124 km2 (length 43 km, width up to 4,6 km). It extends in a northwest – southeast direction, in a series of islands – North there is Molat, and Kornati in South. The highest peak of Dugi Otok is „Vela Straža“ with 338 meters with numerous coves and beaches, almost untouched nature and attractions such as National park Kornati, Nature park Telašćica, caves „Strašna peć“. Sand beach Saharun is ideal place for people who want to spend their holidays away from the city bustle surrounded by untouched nature and crystal  - clear water.
